Dr Greg Webber founded Webber Life Sciences Services Ltd in 2023. The company provides consulting, auditing and training services in data integrity and quality and risk management, subjects that Greg is passionate about.
Prior to founding his own company, Greg gained extensive experience in a thirty seven year career with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Research & Development. In his most recent role, Greg was a Director of Quality and Risk Management, a position he held for ten years. In this role he developed and implemented quality systems which enabled the unit to meet its business objectives, including obtaining and maintaining Reguatory Authority Certificates/Licenses. In this role Greg became a subject matter expert. He presented externally on data integrity and was a significant contributor to the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (IFPMA) group which provided the industry response to the public consultations on the WHO and PIC/S Data Integrity Guidance.
Earlier in his career, Greg held a range of technical roles, including: formulation, process, analytical and packaging development; pilot plant management and data management. Greg’s career has given him significant experience in the pharmaceutical product development and supply of a wide range of dosage forms, across all phases of the development process.
Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a PhD from the University of London and is a Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.
